  • A national Jazz organization worked with a library service to develop a Jazz archive.

  • A community folk organization worked with a library service to conserve its folk song collection on microfiche.

  • A community music residency was developed by an arts trust to celebrate local arts. The artist used the public library as a way of contacting local people via an institution that they trusted. In addition, the library provided the venue for an adult improvisation group and a children's summer school. The project also involved training for librarians by the artist in creative story telling and in working with disabled users.
